Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
This policy explains how Unihauser Inc. ("Unihauser", "we", "us") handles information in connection with this website (unihauser.com), emails you send us, and our business of selling Unihauser Gear® and Unihauser Pets® products on Amazon.ca. We aim to handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
1. Information we collect
This website
This website has no accounts, no forms, no analytics and no advertising trackers, and it sets no cookies of its own. Our hosting and security provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie to filter malicious traffic. Like every website, our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time of the request). These logs are used only to keep the site secure and working, and are kept according to the host's retention schedule.
Emails
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and to help with your request.
Amazon orders
Products bought on Amazon.ca are sold through Amazon, which processes your payment and delivers your order. We never receive your payment card details. Amazon may share limited order information with us (such as items ordered and quantities) so we can support the order. Our Amazon integrations don't access buyers' addresses or contact details, and we handle any order information according to Amazon's policies and this policy.
2. Amazon APIs and Login with Amazon
We use Amazon's Selling Partner API and Amazon Ads API, authorized through Login with Amazon, only to manage our own Amazon seller and advertising accounts. This includes product listings, inventory, orders, sales reports and the performance of our own advertising campaigns.
- We access only data belonging to our own Unihauser accounts. We don't access or collect other advertisers' or sellers' data.
- We use this data only to run and improve our own business: managing listings, inventory, pricing decisions and advertising.
- We don't sell or rent this data, and we don't share it with third parties except service providers that process it on our behalf. We don't use it to build profiles of Amazon customers.
- We take reasonable steps to protect API credentials, including secure storage and limiting access to authorized people.
- We keep data only as long as needed for these purposes or as required by law.
3. How we use information
To answer questions, support orders, improve our products, keep our website secure, and meet legal and tax obligations. We don't send marketing emails unless you ask us to.
4. Sharing
We don't sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business (for example our web hosting and security provider, email and cloud document provider, and data-analysis tools, including an AI assistant), who may use it only to provide their service to us, or when required by law.
5. Storage and security
We use reasonable safeguards, including access controls, secure credential storage and encrypted connections. Some providers may store data outside Canada, where it can be subject to the laws of that country.
6. Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing amzsupport@unihauser.com. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.
7. Children
This website and our products are not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
